The Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission National Inquiry into Discrimination against People in Same-Sex Relationships: Financial and Work-Related Entitlements and Benefits report is going to be presented to parliament before the next federal election.
Attorney-General Philip Ruddock met the lobbyists to discuss a Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission report that found more than 20,000 gay Australian couples faced systematic discrimination on a daily basis.
